NOAA Office of Communications Online CFC Auction
"Thanks to your participation, the NOAA Office of Communication's 2007 Online CFC Auction was a tremendous success! We received a total of 435 bids from NOAA employees across the nation and raised $2,934.50 over a two week period — nearly double what we received last year (i.e., 285 bids and raised $1,792.56 over a three week period)! Twenty-five auction items will go to winners from the national capital area, while the other twenty-three items will go to winners from other NOAA offices nationwide - ranging from Fairbanks and Barrow, Alaska to Albany, New York. Thank you for helping our office reach its CFC goal!"

Welcome to NOAA's CFC Website!
This website describes NOAA's participation in the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for the National Capital Region! This year's theme, "Be a Star in Someone's Life! Support the CFC", was inspired by the idea of exactly what life would be like if the CFC did not exist; hundreds of charities would be unable to provide for those in need. Through this year's campaign, NOAA hopes to raise almost $600,000 to support goods and services that will touch thousands of people's lives. By your generosity, you will be the "star" in these lives.
We will need everyone's help to reach this year's goal. There are many small ways that you can help, even if cannot make a large financial contribution. You can organize a fund raising event in your office or volunteer to help with another event. Maybe you would like to volunteer to work directly with one of the CFC charities, or help your office CFC representative hang and print posters and flyers. Why not bake some cookies for your office CFC bakesale? The participation of NOAA employees in these activities will be the key to reaching our goal and surpassing it! I am looking forward to a successful campaign since I know that together, as One NOAA, we will make a difference.

Baskets will be displayed and raffle tickets sold:
- January 28, SSMC3 Cafeteria, 8:00 - 10:00; 11:00 - 1:00
- January 29, SSMC4, 1st Floor Lobby, 8:00 - 10:00; 11:00 - 1:00
Winning tickets will be drawn on January 30 from 8:00 to 10:00 at the Work Life Wellness Lab., SSMC3.
Tickets cost: $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00.
